Updated October 12, 2007 - Due to a tremendous increase in the number of applications filed in the last few months, USCIS advises customers that the processing of fee payments and entry of cases into our tracking system is behind schedule. October 4, 2007 - USCIS today announced the publication of an interim rule in the Federal Register to establish new administrative procedures for the immigration of children who are adopted by U.S. citizens and who come from countries that are parties to the Hague Convention.
